Welcome to MyAsthmaCentral.com Patty!   I'm Joy, the manager of the site.   You are right, the FDA is banning old inhalers because of the CFCs, which deplete the ozone layer. Instead, people will soon have to use HFA inhalers.   The biggest complaint I've heard about the new inhalers is that they only puff out medicine, rather than blast it the way the old inhalers do. Our experts say that might not be a problem.
