Be patient, because it can take up to 2-3 weeks for this medicine to get fully into your system.  This is an asthma controller medicine that must be taken every day regardless of how well you feel.  Don't give up just yet.

If you continue to have trouble with your asthma make sure you let your doctor know, because there are medicines to get you over the asthma hump until your new controller medicine takes effect.

Good luck.

Thank you so much for your quick reply ! I have been a little stressed out with this lately for it's the first serious flare up I have had in quite a long time. As well with this years flu season making many people ill one tends to worry. I go back to the doctor tomorrow for a follow up and I will see what she says about possibly prescribing me a crutch to get me through this. THANKS AGAIN ! Laughing
