does spiriva taken in a.m. and asmanex taken in p..m. work well?

I take one puff in a.m. of spiriva and in the evening, I take 2 to 3 puffs of asmanex. Is this enough to stop the symptoms?  It doesn't seem to stop mine.  Is there any side effects such as dizziness and severe thinning of the skin?
