I would like to know why it is so hard to get the Dr. to prescribe more than 1 fast acting inhaler at a time! UGH!! Anyone have cough induced asthma?

I have cough induced asthma (I think that is what it's called) from a Bone marrow transplant. I cough and cough and cough. I notice it is worse with dust and cleaning and stuff. Methacholine challenge proved Occupational Asthma, after 1 yr Xolair treatment....

In 2004 I was diaginosed with Occupational Asthma, after a Methacholine challenge. After all other treatments failed I elected to give Xolair injections a try. Mild Asthma... When to Treat?

I have been told by docs that I have a mild form of asthma that kicks in when I engage in too much cardiovascular activity. I don't want that to be an excuse for not exercising rigorously, but it doesn't seem to be severe enough for me to get a doc-prescribed inhaler.
