The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has rejected higher Advair dosing levels for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The panel says there is not enough evidence to support the idea that higher doses of the med help patients live longer. They also cited a higher rate of pneumonia and other infections among patients being treated with Advair.
