More kids show up in the emergency room with asthma flares when the weather changes dramatically, a new study has found. Researchers say humidity that rose more than 10 percent, or a temperature that rose more than 10 degrees increases asthma symptoms. Experts say that parents and health professionals should keep in mind that these weather changes may seriously worsen children's symptoms.
