New asthma guidelines stress disease control

U.S. health officials have released new asthma control guidelines. The guidelines stress that with adequate control, asthma patients can maintain an active lifestyle. Other guidelines include a strong emphasis on monitoring symptoms and being aware of asthma medications' side effects.
