Asthma Steroid Medications
A reader who has been taking the asthma med Advair wants to know if the drug could be responsible for her thinning, easily-bruised skin. According to Joe and Teresa Graedon, the steroid in Advair and Flovent can cause the skin to thin, which could lead to bruising and wounds. The Graedons also point out that the steroid in those asthma medications is not as strong as the dose in oral Prednisone.
