Drugmaker gets tentative okay for generic Allegra

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has given drugmaker Ranbaxy tentative approval to market a generic form of the allergy med Allegra. Tentative approval is given when patents protecting a medication prevent the FDA giving final approval. The patents on Allergra expire in 2012. Read more »
