In a recent study, British researchers found that only half of the people asked where their heart was could identify where it was located. Investigators asked 722 people at three hospitals in London to locate such organs as their lungs, intestines, and bladder. In addition to the low percentage of people who could find the heart on a diagram, the scientists found that only about one-third could locate the lungs.
