Fish and fruit may ease teenagers' asthma, a new study suggests. In a recent study, teens who ate the least amount of fruits (full of vitamin C) and fish (full of omega-3 fatty acids) had worse respiratory function than the teens who had a higher intake of those foods. Researchers say the vitamin C and omega-3 fatty acids may ease the inflammation in the lungs which can lead to asthma.
