According to the Boston Globe, testing has now started on an inhaled version of bone-building medicine Forteo. For those who take it, seems that would be far preferable to the current daily injections it now requires. Of course, since most doctors don't recommend being on the drug for more than two years, it's unclear if the new form would reach the market in time to help those on it right now. In any case, it will be a development to watch.
