Women with asthma feel worse

Women who have asthma get less sleep and feel worse than their male counterparts, but they are still more likely to manage their asthma, researchers say. Scandinavian researchers found that women reported more anxiety about their illness and were more likely to experience reduced quality of life. Experts say that may be because women could be more prone to a type of asthma that is not triggered by allergies, and is therefore harder to treat.  Read full story >
