Better Educated Suffer Less With Asthma

People who have more education suffer less with asthma than their less educated peers, researchers say. In a study of 871 patients scientists found that people who had less than 12 years of education were 55 percent more likely to have an asthma-related emergency in an average year. Experts say that may be because people with less education are often poorer, and may be more exposed to tobacco and other pollutants.  Read full story >
