50 y.o., married (2X), current UMC pastor (10 years), manufacturing management (25years), former competitive triathlete, marathon runner, rock climber. 18 job changes over my career, have dog and cats, have lived on a lake 90% of my life, currently on small lake. Have had scoliosis since 18 y.o., presently causing significant pain and limitations on mobility. Have done some things that I liked, some I'm not proud of. Have met many forks in the road. As Robert Frost wrote, "Two roads converged in a wood and I, I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference." It's made all the difference, sure, but the cost has been very high. Do it again? Sure. But with a little less naivete. Somewhere along the way I lost my way, and I have yet to return.
