I was diagnosed BP1 at 50(ten years ago) so I am glad to have contact with someone older. I was stable for about five years but have been in a deep depression since my son died in an accident two years ago. I have a pdoc and take cymbalta lithium and a tranquilizer but the meds only help marginally. I stopped therapy after a year. It wasn't helping. I find it hard to function. Do you have any advice?
