I know that back on the 25th of August I told everyone that I was completely off of Seroquel...but it didn't quite turn out that way.  I ended up going down to 25mgs, and still couldn't get off of it without withdrawls.  So finally I was able to go down to 12.5, but when you cut a 25 in half...it makes you sick as a dog.  After two nights of that..I finally said to hell with it.  So now I have been suffering with my whole body itching.  But atleast thats the only withdrawl sympton now.  I am offically off of Seroquel...thank the good Lord.  Who would have thought taking 600mg for 6 1/2 years could just about kill you for taking it.  Then just about kill you trying to get off of it.  It's taken me three months and four visits to the ER, but now it's over.Laughing  Hugs to all!!

That was a very inspirational story. I was on clozaril for so many years that it started to make me more psychotic. I finally got off that terrible drug after 4 times in the mental hospital. I would not recommend clozaril to anyone. It is one of the most powerful drugs out there. It is such a relief to be off that drugSmile.

Sincerely your friend,

Ron McIlveene

Ron...Thank you so much.  It's terrible what we have to go through to get off of these drugs.  One would think they would add this to their info sheets.  But then no one would want to use these meds...don't you think?  Hope all is going well for you!Smile
