    I have found that when i begin to feel mania slipping in on me I often stop breathing right and I feel like If I just stop and breath deeply I feel a little better. do you know what I mean..It feels like I have a little say in my moods or control for lack of a better word. Peace Connie

    Thank you very much, Sue B., for your wonderful advice about the five-minue rule.  I find it to be very encouraging for me, since I tend to take longer than five minutes to accomplish any one task.  I love the way you think - it gives me a fresh, innovative perspective for my own well-being!

    Thanks for the great info Sue.  I wish I could navigate the clubhouse, it's so frustrating for me.

     

    I hang out at sheforums.com at a thread Housecleaning for Depression/Bipolar.  We have a PU5 game. Pick Up 5 items and put them away.  It's quick and doable even in the deepest depression.  Plus you get a sense of real accomplishment.  You type it on the thread and get lots of encouragement and support!
