  1. Employers' role in selecting the type of coverage they offer

    I never thought about the role employers play in selecting the insurance plans they offer.  I have thought that the insurance companies just present various packages of care and the employer picks by price.  That employers have more say in this process than I realized, gives me pause to reconsider my criticisms of insurance companies (not that they're completely off the hook here).  Thanks for this information.
