Music has a very strong influence on my moods.  In a flash I can be transported back in time to a place long ago, just hearing the words to an old song.  It always amazes me that I can remember every word to an old '60's song but cannot remember my best friends phone number.  Lately I have made a concious effort to only listen to happy uplifting music.  I have a song by Colbie Caillat called Bubbly that I can hear and it gives me an instant lift.  I feel like singing and laughing and sometimes even dancing. Even when I need to mellow out I watch the words and tempo of the music I play.  Music has always been important to me.
