Using the words attempting and refusing in the same sentence to describe treatments are just the opposite of each other. If this person is unwilling to accept and get treatment there is nothing you can do about it. I know it’s hard to sit back on the sidelines and see this person do destructive things.

My only advice would be…to be open and honest with this person about the need to get back into treatment and what you’re seeing from a distance without it. Be aware that it can also backfire and ruin a relationship with this person becoming angry with you for saying anything.

Hi...Eric is right on the money with his comments/suggestions.  Every bipolar I know has had issues with denial and refusing treatment at some point in their lives.  Be patient and he will eventually get help on his own terms.  Good luck and never give up.

I dont and havent pushed the issue but have expressed what i have seen .

and today they decided to move into the other room .

saying there not happy and not sure if this will make them happy and cannot pin point why there unhappy.

So do I just sit back and be paitent in hopes they'll seek treatment when there ready.

and be here for support as I always am
