Advance Fee Scams
birdbreather
Friday, July 25, 2008 at 08:23 PMNo problem, these things are pretty common they are often referred to as Russian or Nigerian Advance fee scams( they can come from anywhere though). They essentially are all the same, they need a small investment and promise you a huge payoff. Its actually kind of sad how many people get conned by these guys. The Financial crimes division of the secret service estimates that they get approximately 100 phone calls per day from victims of these scams.

Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 11:37 AMGot a flag in my personal email that someone in this community had posted a message to my box here from this site. I logged in and wha la - it was the same CON game wanting money.
So, somehow someone has gotten it into this site and it's passing through or a member is sending it to the other member's themselves.
Either way, it's a CON and I deleted it and hope you will too..
