As some of you may know, I am working on my next book, Raccoons Respect My Piss - But Watch Out for Skunks: My Metaphor for Life on a Planet Not of My Choosing and How I Finally Came to Terms. In my draft, I venture this observation:
I sometimes get to return to the planet of my birth. It's just that I can't recall it. I like to imagine it's a happier place than this one, filled with shady trees, with kind people spread out on the lawn beneath, pulling out containers of Thai noodles and watermelon chunks from their picnic baskets, beckoning me to join them.

Part Two: What practical steps are you taking to build even just a small piece of that world?
