Two days ago, I received a review copy of Terri Cheney's new book, "The Dark Side of Innocence: Growing Up Bipolar." Several months before I had received a galley copy, and provided a blurb (which is on the back cover). You may be familiar with Terri's best-selling "Manic: A Memoir," which came out in 2008, also highly recommended.
Personal accounts such as Terri's provide us with excellent insights into our illness. I also include the narratives I read here. No question about it: our education starts with us.
Question: Any good books on bipolar or mental illness you have read lately?
