My husband is an excellent cook. He calls it therapy - as you mentioned. We have a bunch of food restrictions. I'm diabetic 2, both of us are on low salt/low fat...Preparing food at home is a sure way to keep the ingredients healthy for ourselves. The chemicals in some prepared food, can trigger a migraine for me.

 

Besides...cooking our own stuff makes our homes smell sooo good. The aromas are part of the anticipation of a good meal.
