John...a nice tribute - George Carlin was an icon.  He will be sorely missed by his peers and by his fans.  I can still feel the laughter in my mind.

Heaven will never be the same now that George Carlin has arrived ..... I wonder if you can say those 7 little words up there that could never be said on regular TV ??? Thanks for the laughs, George. You will be missed.

John, thanks for the stroll down memory lane. I was in my twenties and had a mad crush on George Carlin. He made some of the sad days tolerable and some of  the dark days brighter. It is good to see someone else will miss him. Remember the bit about "stuff" everybody has their own stuff and they take it with them. Thanks again John! Annie

tribute and trip down memory lane of Carlins life....thank you for the post John, it is good to know that someone else saw him as the comedian who stepped "outside the box" and gave us so many years of laughter and a diversified way to look at the world.

Hope you're doing well, and all is good your way.

    take care my friend,
