Nearly all of us can point to a book that changed our lives - opened our eyes, hit us in the gut, pierced our heart. Suddenly, we were no longer the same, and neither was the world we lived in. This week's question:

 

Tell us about the book or books that had the most influence on you.

 

No limits. Feel free to make a long list or write a book report. If this happened to be a kid's book you read as a kid, by all means mention it. If it was a cookbook that challenged you to do things you never considered doing before, then talk about it.

 

One request: If you mention the Bible, could you single out a specific book of the Bible, passage, story, or unifying theme that particularly moved you?
