We all know what we're talking about, here. Humans neatly divide into two types - cat people and dog people. Question:
Which type are you?
No hemming and hawing. No sitting on the fence. You are who you are. State your case, tell your story, write a philosophical treatise. Go for it ...

She takes care of herself for the most part, doesn't begg for people food, doesn't slobber all over us and doesn't have to go for a walk to poop in sand - she does it in a box that can be cleaned out pretty easily without having to get near the poop. And her pee doesn't kill the grass.Apart from that, she is the softest sweetest thing when she wants to be and will give you such a look when she wants a treat. Love me, love my cat.

Years ago I was owned by cats. I still love them, hubby is just alergic to them. Never was a dog person. Until we were walking past a pet shop in the mall just alittle over 6 years. There was this sad little face watching as we walked. I just had to go in and get a little closer look. We played with her, and sadly put her back ( hubby made me do it...LOL ). The next day we went back to see if she was still there. She was, but alot of the other puppies were gone. We took her out for a few min's, but sadly put her back. That night I convinced hubby to get her if she was still there the next day. She saw us coming in and turned around as if to ignore us. Then she peeked around to see if we were still there. Her whole body started wagging. I went to talk to the clerk, got them to drop the price (omg the price!). We all went home and became a happy family. We then rescued a boston terrier from a AZ run rescued 2 1/2 years ago. We named her Peanut. A breeder turned her in after breeding her once. She was only two, but she was also deaf. She had been in rescue for 3 months because no one wanted a deaf dog. I saw her picture on their website and fell in love with her. We had to go through the adoption process which took about a week. They had to come out and see how we lived, filled out alot of forms. Peanut blessed our lives in so many ways. But sadly she passed away 30 days ago today in her sleep. She was only a young girl, and they have no idea why she passed. The only thing we can come up with, is the abuse she went through as a yound pup. Today we were able to foster a boston terrier, her name is Freida. We took her in to give her the once over at the vet. She is 3 y/o, her owner was only 42 and passed away after fighting breast cancer. She is such a sweet little thing, and we will be adopting her in about a month. So we have a 6 1/2 y/o boston and a 3 y/o boston. Our family is complete again...and we couldn't be more happy.
