Recovery and healing is a journey. Journeys involve moving on. Perhaps to new locale or a new job, almost certainly to a new sense of what matters in life. But first we have to let go, whether to the side of a swimming pool or to the shackles we mistake for our sense of security. Venturing into the unknown is always risky. Things tend to get worse before they get better. Inevitably, there is a trail of tears. But eventually, we arrive in a different place. A place in our soul. Once we settle in, we can never imagine going back to that old place.

Question: Tell us a little something about your journey.

Perhaps you got started with an inspiration, such as quitting your job and starting your own business. Perhaps it got thrust upon you, such as a marriage breakup. Write a sentence, write a book. Share your insight and wisdom.
