Medication

By mirinda Tuesday, October 13, 2009

this is just unbelievable....

i went to my phychiatrist yesterday in the quest to find out what can make me feel better regarding my medication...

She cant help me...so bitchy not even funny..

HOW I FEEL:

1. they make me so tired

2. headackes of note

3. nausea of note!

i actually cant handle this feeling anymore!

when i asked her what is there to do she told me she actually have no suggestions and that is just so sad.

i am on the following:

1. ZOLOFT

2. LILICTIM

3. LITHIUM

4. WELBURTAIN...

A hand full i know but yes that is life forward.

i have been on this medication for 3 years and everyday i hope today i am going to feel better.

the worst of all is "you" can still drink all this medication but still "you" would go thru all the other symptoms.

What to do?

find a new doctor, quick!  dealing with bp not only requires trying different meds, it requires finding the right doc - I'm on #4.

From what I've experienced it does sound like this doctor is growing tired of dealing with your issues, and so they shouldn't be helping patients with this problem anymore.  I have no idea what medication 'Lilictim' is, but I am on wellbutrin and Lithium, they work well together but I have had to adjust my lithium dose several times so that it did not make me nauseated. It always does at first, but when you've adjusted for a couple weeks it should settle down, if not you need to talk to your doctor and they test your blood too, but for me I never tested toxic and was still too nauseated.  I have to remain at 600mg. Not sure why you would be on zoloft and wellbutrin, I thought they would be used for similar perposes but I'm not a doctor. Just sounds like a lot. Again not sure what the other one is. Good luck.
