It has been a while since I posted and there is a reason for that....

seems that my medications began to wane somewhat and not be as affective as they were for quite a while

...on Lamictal and abilify and klonopin and zoloft which he stopped for my mania is OUT THE ROOF<  and trazadone....well, hallucinations escalated to point ofseeing a mans face MELTING in front of me then looked down to avoid seeing it and then BOOM not like that was normal looking but oh what a scare!!, see people walking about here and there and never predictable, hear voices and i mean VOICES like right beside me (and this is an everyday occurance for me and always has been as those of yo that read my posts know so that part isn't new nor the seeing people but now more often and more intense BIG TIME) and now instead of being just one word or one sentence it is like they are talking to me, then went into tactiles

and so got to pdoc as soon as i could and well he has decided that the meds on arent getting it and need to be changed, now i totally trust this man, he is the most caring pdoc i've ever met...

BUT he is lowering the lamictal to wane meoff it and start someting new once waned off....not sure whta will take it's place mentioned some butnot sure yet...but did take me TOTALLY off the abilify and onto rispedril (sp???) and Cogentin(SP??) and i just read all about these meds and am a little leary of the sides

...if anyone whatsoever has been on this and knows what to expect this ctry girl would love to know some information, everything i read on internet med sites are like uhm well spooky as to what sides can be....my question is are these COMMON, has anyone had difficulty with this, actually read that the movement disorders this can cause can be permanent...and heck knows i don't need to add to the pile of 15 physical illnesses and rapid cycling mixed mood bp that is for SURE.....i just am so leary of this.

..did take my first dosage this morning, and as of right now (which was only about 1 hour ago) nothing abnormal except little drowsy but he has me on this combo 3 times a day and said the second one that benzotropine med is for the sides to lessen them.....anyone have any experience with this????

I need an answer that is for sure....i have dealt with the halluciantions and delusions for quite a while and KNOW they aren't really there, which helps a lot, and utilize all my coping skills to overcome the stress that they cause but uhm overcometh me and now changing meds, which ALSO is causing a little stress and worry for sure.....so if anyone has any answers or suggestions i so would appreciate input so much...

my tactiles only come and go and are unpredictable and part of the reason i haven't been on here for a while because the keyboard literally felt like HUGE lillypads or huge squares that my fingers couldn't maneuver over with ease so haven't been on here a while

...but oh if anyone has any suggestions or advice i sure could use it....

know this is the place to go for so many knowledgeable and kind and caring people on here....always help me out ....and have so often i knew where to turn...RIGHT HERE>>.
