Is there anyone out there who has had a family member or friend who was diagnosed with bi-polar and put in prison regardless? I think this is terrible. My son is sitting in prison regardless of the fact that he was diagnosed 4 months ago, and has done nothing wrong since he has been on medication for bi-polar. How can I help him. We only have a court appointed lawyer and can't afford anything more. It's sad that the poor end up in prison and the wealthy thata can afford a lawyer would probably get off. This is just not fair. Is there anyone in Massachusetts that can help me? I would give my life for my son.
