you didn't say "what" you've been a smoking 
smoking is smoking and I get that.. no judgement whether "legal" or not
AND both are very hard to kick but.... one is a wee bit harder to kick than the other and well, ONE generally requires a program to go through while the other can be sometimes treated with patches, gum, etc...
the legal one produces many health related illnesses over time & could (and has) produce cancer and many employers have "smoke free" policies
the "not" legal one can exacerbate the symptoms of your disorder, interfere with treatment of your disorder, can lead to one moving on to other harsher items, and well... can just mess with your perception of reality over time.. not to mention flunking one out on a random drug test
I give you many many kudos however, regardless of which or what, that you are recognizing the need to kick which or what and are reaching out.
