Hello everyone,
My name is David, I am 42yrs. old. and I live in Baton Rouge La. I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder about 10 years ago. I have been through all the typical struggles as many of you have. Like trying to find the right doctor, the right medicines or combos of medicines ect. I have been hospitalized three times, one for attemped suicide.(thank God I didn't succeed). I am glad to find this site and hope to gain a lot of information from the site and from people like you who deal with what I deal with on a daily basis. I too was diagnosed late in life. Am still switching meds, just did this week.

Thanks Chris for the warm welcome. I hope through this site, we can all help each other cope with our day to day srtuggles. Hang in there with the Meds. situation, it just takes time to find the ones that work for you. Again, thanks for the welcome!
