About Me

i was diagnosed 4 yrs. ago, but i really started on the road when i was 15. but back then it was frowned upon to have a mental illness so treatment wasn't an option. i have tried about 5-6 different meds for my bipolar without success until 1 year ago. it has been wonderful to finally feel as normal as possible. although i do tend to be on the manic side, esp. hypermanic so my psych and i work with it. i am very blessed to have a wonderful psychiatrist. she's my 4th one. not much else to say.
