I finally saw the endocrinologist that my primary doctor referred me to. She was really nice. She did an ultrasound of my neck. She said she saw a nodule. She wants to do a biopsy but said that I shouldnt worry. She said its probaly benign. So I wasnt worried. She said I had 2 choices: do the biopsy right away or wait 6 months. I told her to wait the 6 months. Maybe by then we wont have to do it at all. I figured it was no big deal. But when I told my husband and my good friend about it they were really worried. She had skin cancer so I guess I shouldve known she would get worried. She wants me to do the biopsy right away. My husband is worried because cancer runs in my family. But this thyroid issue isnt the same. I read that 9 out of 10 biopsies are usually benign. I'm still not worried.

which course did your doc recommend? I'm a little on both sides, I dislike any kind of surgery (I don't like being put under). But my sister has cancer and is fighting for her life, if she had gotten it checked sooner, they may have been able to catch it early and it wouldn't be so bad. But she didn't want to think it was anything that bad, so she didn't worry about it, things like that only happen to other people, right?
Just please make sure to take care of yourself, and do what you think is best. I'll keep you in my prayers.
