RE: My Bipolar Husband..would like to thank members

by  mom2twins

I want to take this time to thank all the members that reponded to my original post, you have given me encouragement and much needed advice.   As previously mentioned my recently diagnosed husband has been gone for 7 months (there is no other woman..he is staying with his parents).  I talk to him every day and tell him I love him and that I won't abandon him...but it has been unbearably hard.  Sometimes he says he is trying to come back but the next day he tells me he does not want to be married, wants to be alone, does not love me like he should.  Through my tears I tell him he does not mean it..it is his sickness talking.  I am trying to stay strong...I ask God for strength and wisdom.  I guess I just needed to know from the members that I am doing the right thing.  I need the encouragement not to give up on him.  I do take care of myself too but I have noticed that depression is setting in.
