Hello Fellow sufferers, I have had Bipolar since a young man of 19 and now at 70 I am still trying to cope, throughout my life I have had several Major episodes,
I have personally found that moon phasing has a part in my mood. My assessment of this is because we a composed of a lot of water, if our situation is unbalanced, the moon pulls tides, so surely it is going to affect those with an imbalance
One of my psychiatrist summed it up when he said even people dying with cancer want to cling to lifw wjile the opposite is true of bipolar, not forgetting of course that it can be from MILD to Severe, sadly mine is severe. He also said that people look at you and think you look a picture of health when nothing could be further from the truth. He said its not the "Outside" thats hurting. I have been fortunate to have a wonderful wife who has encouraged me and nursed me through some really bad times when I was younger. times if the cure was on a table 10' from your bed and you are really down, you couldn't even get out of bed to get it..... However, since I have had it all these years and survived it shows that it can be done...I remember DSpike Milligan who was the Presint of the then called "Manic depressive society in Britain that at 80 he just felt he was coming out of it.... My Psychiatrist would say to me "Of course you know you are a genius don't you" However it wont help you ome iota when you are ill.
