It's 5:00 AM on Christmas eve, and I'm already working hard to meet some EOY deadlines at work, but those pressures are not bothering me. In fact, this is the first Christmas in years where my stress level is not through the roof. I'm actually going to enjoy Christmas this year, which m...

Christmas has arrived in the Midwest

G.J......Enjoyed your post. Have a very merrry christmas. And I'm happy to hear it's not stressful this year.
It's been a good 5 years since the Christmas holiday has been a happy and stress-free one for me, so I can identify somewhat.
I lost a son to epilepsy 6 years ago...he was the light of my life. Grieving has gotten in the way of my happiness for too long.
This year the real meaning of Xmas is back for me and I am feeling strong connections with my faith. Everything is falling into place in a good way. May it last throughout the year.
Have a merry christmas on this day...and to all our readers and posters...happy holidays

From Trace in Australia thankyou loved your message, its been a strange one here on one hand i deal with this ****, on another hubby had a breakdown, on another i met a man (nothing happened) out a few weeks back whom is more bi polar than i ever know and yet i got him completeley got his being great fun then hiding, i wish i could do that, i just don't, maybe i am not bi polar at all or i havent the time to give any more energy. Anyhow all my blessings my energy levels are failing a tad just now, i prefer highs so lows don't sit that well,
all my love, blessings,
trace

Tracy! Good to hear from you again.
Sorry about your husband, that's stressful on everybody.
Watch out for yourself, you're coming into a time that is bad for many bipolars. Late summer is the worst time for me.
Stay in touch, my friend.

My goodness, I enjoy your blog. I just found this site today, Sunday Dec. 30th and I already know this is going to amplify what I am trying to accomplish in my life. Its nice to know you are here in Omaha with me, thanks man, I will keep reading and learning about this ever mysterious disorder I have. Peace to you and your family into the new year. Mike

Mike,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. We may end up meeting at a support group meeting someday. If there's anything I can do, drop me a line.
All the best to you and your loved ones in the new year.
