Throughout my experience with mental health professionals, that the psychiatrists that treated me were very matter of fact, scientific professionals who knew brain chemistry and how to prescribe the right medications.  Unfortunately, for the most part they were not skilled therapists or even conversationalists.  This is o.k., because we certainly need them to perform their role to assure our well being.

My experience with a therapist was absolutely wonderful.  I wish that I were still in therapy with my original therapist Dr. Frank.  I found with the right therapist the experience is rewarding on so many levels and the discoveries you make about your BP will enlighten you.

The advise I would give you is to be selective and if one doesn't work for you, well find one that does.  This is a partnership where trust is the major component both ways.

I wish you well in your adventure.  Don't hesitate to reach out if you need more assistance.
