I'm fifty, been living or diagnsoised with bi-polar since I was thirty. My last year of a four year degree I partied to stay up to write my papers, thats when I began having problems.
I also worked full time at General Motors never missed a day. I became suicidal, tried
a lot of medication until litium, then I was back working my shifts, was a success. Recently I started having problems with my kidneys, it's mild but everyones freaken, so
this week 225 litium 2mg abilify.

That's awful. Sorry to hear this.
What does the psychiatrist say? Were you doing blood checks every 6 months?
I was on depakote ER for a long time, and all of a sudden, my white (or red) blood cell counts decreased a lot. I am now on Lithium, 900mg.
There's a lot of drugs out there (all have their own issues).
The doctor will probably want to change up the medication mix.
Hang in there, I just went through it last year. The lithium has been fine so far.
www.drugs.com is a pretty cool website to look at drug interactions.
Peace,
Chris (E)
Hi thanks for writing. Litium was a god sent no side effects. Now 225mg litium Abilify 2mg I aready feel off in my head, my thinking. But I'll give it my all. You know reading
the effects isn't good read them after a couple of days in to the dose. Sometimes you
put it in your head before hand. I was on Abilify years ago they started high, what
a trip, also Geivta had to be hosiptalized starting high.(proably spelled wrong, but same
family) I was on depakota years ago I disliked it. My litium level was 1250mg when I was working, when I retired went down to 450mg. I worked for General Motors, three
plants and some days ten different jobs. The questions from other employees really
bothered me, what just cause your hands shake, plus I have a very low voice.
