About Me

I live with bipolar disorder and have been stable for about three almost four years. At one point I never thought getting to the place I am at was even possible. The biggest thing I dealt with, I think, was figuring out what was wrong with me and then acceptance. I got into a lot of trouble with the law and self medicating for a good period. Once I hit the point of not caring about anything (even my life) I looked for help. I realize I am one of the lucky few that got help when it was really needed. I have read and studied almost everything having to do with mental health. So I like to think that through living with it and arduous reading I have learned a lot that can help others.
