About Me

I am a middle-aged woman (widowed), who is looking to share experiences that people have had, regarding their bipolar diagnosis. I am training to become a Peer Support Specialist, and I hope to do this on a part-time basis. I used to give workshops and other presentations about my recovery, assertiveness, advocacy and patient rights. I have found that one of the main ways for me to feel fulfilled, is if I have helped someone else to help him/herself. I am eager to learn more about you and your successes, setbacks and any other things you wish to share - whether it is about bipolar or not!
