Anyone experience bad golf with medications?

By falcons.soccer14 Tuesday, July 21, 2009

I have been taking Depakote and Seroquel for 4 months now, and my golf game has been non-existent since - I have only played a few times and it's like I'm a beginner.  Does anyone have any experience with this?  Normally I'm a very good golfer (not trying to brag) just very frustrated with not being able to play with my friends.  I miss it and want to be back out there.  My Dr. says it's because the meds hit the nervous system.  That makes some sense to me.

I played the worst golf game of my life last week. It seemed as though I was a beginer out for the first time. I just couldnt get my mind and body to move at the same time. Last year I did fine but now that I am one double the amount of drugs from a year ago. Your point makes sence.

Exactly, mind and body do not work together like they used too.  I think I need to wait until my meds get reduced before trying again.
