There is a place that allows you to mark on this site that you have recovered. How do you recover from Bipolar disorder.  It never goes away.  We manage to treat the symptoms with medications.  We can also learn to accept responsibility for our actions, BP related or not.  But how do you recover from something that is related to a permanent malfunction of the brain? ( did not know how else to word this)

Because recovered and cured are two different words and have two different meanings. I guess recovering would be a better description as we are always on guard to changes and possible medication adjustments. I understand what your saying and your right.

Maybe recovery is acceptance and taking responsibility for your own treatment.  Hmm good question.
