I used to try to live weeks in the future, or would relive weeks in the past.  It seemed that life was always about the past or future, without any present.

Maybe, that allowed me to focus on other things, besides my issues.  All I can say, is that it made life extremely difficult and stressful.  So, I decided to make a change.

I began making the effort to live in the present moment.  While, it has been difficult to learn, it sure, has made life more tolerable, and less overwhelming.  I work hard each day at focusing on the task at hand in that particular moment.  While, my brain occasionally returns to its old ways, it is becoming easier with time.

It sure give me a peace of mind each day, knowing that I will only handle things pertaining to that specific moment.  It makes my life less stressful, and keeps my bipolar symptoms under better control.

I hope, that this helps someone in some way.
