He ended the semester with an A, two Bs, and two Cs.  Life is going better for him now.  He should be getting his driver's license in the next couple of months.  One more semester of Math and he shouldn't have to worry about that any more.  He was really tired before Christmas break but he seems renewed at the moment.  We had a conversation this week where he claimed he'd be going off his meds when he turns 18.  I think our brief conversation changed his mind for now.  I simply asked if he wanted to wind up in the hospital again.  He hated that place so hopefully he will do what he needs to to try to stay out of there.  He's a normal teenage kid, irritated with rules and pushing his authority, but no melt-downs.  He hasn't seen the counselor in about 4 months and really doesn't seem to need it right now.  He's even remembering to take his meds on his own.  He's matured alot over the last year.  Things are very calm on the home-front right now.
