Bipolar II and Episodes of Depression

By Marcia Purse, Health Guide Saturday, December 10, 2011
Even after I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, I often doubted the diagnosis. The reason was that my "up" periods were so rare, my depressions so frequent and so long. I thought major depressive disorder was a better diagnosis.   Later I learned something important that I want to share here: ...

Hi Marcia...

This is very interesting.  It must be hard to diagnose Bipolar II because of this reason that you have depression so much more often.

May I ask..what meds are helping you the most?  Did it take a long time to figure out the best medication combination?

Thanks for all the first hand experience you share with us.  It is very helpful.
