    congratulations SU1 I am sooo proud of you, we so need a voice out there and learning about the illness can only help you more. I too took a course on bp and it sooooo taught me soooo much.....but i have yet to find an advocacy group that i can join and share my thoughts/ideas/thwart stigmas and etc with, I AM SO GLAD YOU DID and you will be GREAT girl!!! YOU GO!!!! PROUD OF YA!! CONGRATS!!!

    ps .....ever any doubt about the people on here??read some of the replies i have gotten boy oh boy has it pulled me through so many times, of course we're here for you, we love ya!!
    AND we ALL know how hard times can be sometimes for bps and we all feel helpless sometimes.....just do me a favor and DON"T over do....I know i got kinda manic with my schooling it was like I have to get this perfect, but that was ME and then the depression hit and held me back but was so driven i went through that too crying and writing all at the same time geez.....but please take er slow and know we are ALL behind you 100 percent.....again CONGRATS GIRL!!! YOU DID IT!!!

    Yes, I totally agree, I must be so careful not to 'overdo' it with the facilitating, or it will do me in, in no time!  Thankfully, the MDA does not put any pressure on me & recommend I start out with only 1X per month.  What a relief knowing I don't need to take on too much.

     

    I think I will skip today's meeting & try again next week, hopefully being more prepared by that time.
