Sharon...Thank you for the website and the questionnaires.  I've saved Equilibrium to my favorites - it's a wonderful organization.  I'm having a lazy, boring afternoon and will spend some time looking at it.  Thanks for giving me something to do. Smile

Like you, I am passionate about bipolars being properly diagnosed, and especially children.  Bipolar is a little TOO prevalent these days, at least it seems so to me.  And many people out there are suffering needlessly due to misdiagnosis.  Our pharmeucetical companies and our doctors should be held accountable as part of the problem.  We need better standards.

Thanks again, Sharon.  I always look forward to your shareposts.

Pertaining to children, here is a PBS documentary you might be interested in (Part 3 in particular):

Sharon...thanks for this website - I've read the intro and will certainly read it in it's entirety when time permits.

Young developing minds should not be tampered with to the extent they are with psycotropic drugs...it's overkill.  Kids go from temper tantrums to ADHD and on to bipolar diagnosis far too often.  Behavior modification might be a better solution for most of them.  It's appalling.
